The Professional Bull Riders Rock the Big Apple The PBR Bucks into Madison Square Garden The Built Ford Tough Series Kicks Off 2007 Season in New York
The Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR) is proud to announce that the elite Built Ford Tough Series presented by Wrangler (BFTS) will make its debut in New York City at Madison Square Garden. The Versus Invitational presented by Amp'd Mobile will kick off the 2007 BFTS season on January 6 with two performances at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. and one performance on January 7 at 1 p.m. OLN, the cable home of the PBR, is the title sponsor of the event, which reflects the network's new moniker -- Versus.
The historic venue hosted the PBR's U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Co. Challenger Tour in November of 2000 -- the event was won by Paulo Crimber (Olimpia, Brazil). However, this is the first time the BFTS will premiere at The Garden. The two-day event will showcase the top 45 bull riders in the world against the best bucking bulls in the industry along with pyrotechnics and rock-n-roll excitement.
"I believe that when you take the World's Most Famous Arena, add passionate fans in America's city, and bring in the best riders and bulls in the world, you create an energy that will make for one of the very best PBR events ever," said PBR CEO Randy Bernard.
The Garden hosts 400 world-class events annually. The arena was home to the World's Championship Rodeo from the early 1900's through 1959. However, it will be the first time the arena will host the world renowned BFTS.
"I think the PBR is ready for New York City and I think the fans of New York are ready for the PBR. There isn't a higher level of professional bull riding than this. It does not matter if you're a man or woman, young or old, there's something for everyone. Whether you're there for the great rides or the wild wrecks, bull riding as with other professional sports is so much more exciting and powerful live. It's a sport you need to see in person," stated Ty Murray, PBR President and nine-time World Champion cowboy.
"We have been a proud partner of the PBR since 2003, and we look forward to working with them to bring The Versus Invitational to New York City," said Gavin Harvey, President of OLN/Versus. "We chose Versus as the new name of the network because it evokes competition, and I don't think it gets much more competitive than trying to stay atop a rank, 2,000-lb bull. It is the true test of man vs. beast."
"Madison Square Garden has a lengthy tradition of hosting a variety of sports and entertainment events for the whole family and we look forward to showcasing the start of the 2007 Built Ford Tough Series season," said Joel Fisher, Senior Vice President, Sports Properties for Madison Square Garden. "This event is a unique addition to next year's Garden lineup."
Tickets go on sale on June 21 and start at just $15. To purchase tickets, please contact Ticketmaster at 212-307-7171 or log on to www.ticketmaster.com. TeamPBR tickets are available by visiting www.pbrnow.com.

Federer owns the grasscourts of Wimbledon
Roddick and Williams are odds makers best bet for US victory
As Wimbledon prepares to open for business, Roger Federer is set to work on his fourth Wimbledon title in four years. Not surprisingly, odds makers at Sportsbook.com, the world's largest online sportsbook and casino, have listed the first seeded Federer as the heavy 3-1 favorite to hoist the gentleman's trophy in July. On the women's side, fourth seeded Maria Sharapova is the 5-2 favorite, and will hope to fair better than 2005's semi-final defeat to eventual winner Venus Williams.
Representing the United States' best chance for grasscourt glory on the men's side is Andy Roddick, who odds makers have given a 6-1 bet at taking the all-England championship. Seeded third in this year's tournament, Roddick has met Federer at centre court in the last two Wimbledon finals, but only managed to steal one set from the Swiss top seed. Other seeded Americans taking to the courts in Wimbledon are James Blake (20-1) and veteran Andre Agassi (60-1).
On the women's side, defending champion, and seventh seed Venus Williams will be the only American playing in the tournament after sister Serena Williams and compatriots Jennifer Capriati and Lindsay Davenport have bowed out due to injuries. Williams is a 6-1 bet, which is good for fourth on the odds chart. Ahead of her are Belgians Kim Clijsters (11-2), Justine Henin- Hardenne (9-2) and favored Russian belle Maria Sharapova.
Also worth noting on the men's side is Australia's sixth seeded Lleyton Hewitt (12-1) and seventh seed Mario Ancic, who have both seen their rankings increase due to their skill on the grass. Federer's clay court rival, and second seeded Rafael Nadal (15-1), may also be a threat. On the women's side all eyes will be on 13th seeded Swiss Miss Martina Hingis (9-1), as she makes her first Wimbledon appearance since 2001. Top ranked Amelie Mauresmo (7-1) will also be sure to turn some heads as she looks to continue her strong play and capture her first Wimbledon championship.

First Place at Le Mans 24 Hour Race for the Audi R10
Victory for Bosch Diesel Injection Technology
* Diesel technology combines maximum performance with low consumption * Specially adjusted Bosch common rail system
Together with Audi, Bosch has developed the diesel injection system for the successful Audi R10 TDI racecars, supplying high-pressure pumps, injectors and the engine control unit for the motor racing common rail system. At the world-famous, long-distance race in Le Mans, France, on June 18, 2006, the two Audi R10 TDI racecars finished first and third. The success of the R10 at the 24 Hours of Le Mans further strengthens the motor racing alliance for Bosch and Audi. In past years, Audi won several races at Le Mans with its predecessor model, the R8, whose FSI direct injection system was also developed with Bosch.
"We are pleased that this year we were able to play our part in racing success with our innovative diesel injection equipment," said Dr. Ulrich Dohle, president, Bosch Diesel Systems. "In recent years, high performance and low consumption have helped the diesel engine be successful in series- produced models. Now, the diesel has also shown what it can do on the race track."
As development partner, Bosch supplies the specially adjusted high- pressure pumps and piezo-inline injectors for the common rail injection system installed in the R10 TDI. Its engineers also have used the specific racing know-how of Audi Sport as the basis for developing the new electronic control unit for the car's 12-cylinder engine. When developing the injection system, the greatest challenge was the variable control of the extremely high injection pressure. Bosch also supplies the telemetrics system that ensures an uninterrupted transmission of data from the vehicle to the pit during the race.
Bosch supports all its racing efforts through its Bosch Motorsports unit. It is part of Bosch Engineering GmbH, the Bosch subsidiary that specializes in engineering services. Bosch motor racing services has a long and winning tradition, dating back to as early as 1903.
The Bosch Group is a leading global manufacturer of automotive and industrial technology, consumer goods, and building technology. In fiscal 2005, approximately 251,000 associates generated sales of 41.5 billion euros, or $51.7 billion USD. Set up in Stuttgart in 1886 by Robert Bosch (1861-1942) as "Workshop for Precision Mechanics and Electrical Engineering," the Bosch Group today comprises a manufacturing, sales, and after-sales service network of approximately 280 subsidiaries and more than 12,000 service centers in over 140 countries.
In North America, the Bosch Group manufactures and markets automotive original equipment and aftermarket products, industrial automation and mobile products, power tools and accessories, security technology, thermo-technology, packaging equipment and household appliances. Bosch employs 22,700 associates in more than 80 primary and 20 associated facilities throughout the region with reported sales of $8.4 billion in 2005.
This year marks Bosch's 100th
year of operating in the U.S. For more information on the company and the Centennial, visit http://www.bosch.us/ .
The All-new 2007 Chrysler Sebring - Chrysler Builds on Winning Formula, Creating Inspiration for the Mid-size Sedan Segment
* Strikingly beautiful design with world-class interior craftsmanship * Purposeful technology that makes life easier and safer * Class-leading safety features * Exhilarating performance with excellent fuel efficiency
Chrysler is creating inspiration in the common car, introducing the 2007 Chrysler Sebring. An all- new mid-size sedan, Chrysler Sebring builds on the winning formula begun with the award-winning Chrysler 300 in the large car segment, and more recently, the all-new 2007 Dodge Caliber in the compact car segment. This formula combines stunning design with interior craftsmanship, high-levels of safety and reliability, exhilarating performance and excellent fuel efficiency, all at a surprisingly affordable price. Sebring also features many class-leading technologies not available in the mid-size segment.
"The all-new 2007 Chrysler Sebring sustains the momentum started by the blockbuster hit Chrysler 300 and continued with the Dodge Caliber," said George Murphy, Senior Vice President - Global Marketing. "Just as the 300 redefined the large-car segment and signaled the return of the great American car, Chrysler Sebring combines the levels of reliability and durability that mid-size buyers demand with unexpected levels of style, craftsmanship, technology and affordable performance."
The 2007 Chrysler Sebring appeals to buyers who appreciate style, practicality, safety and value. Sebring's elegant and sophisticated design, packaged with interior craftsmanship, exciting new technologies and class- leading safety features, meets the needs of their busy lives.
The 2007 Chrysler Sebring will be available in U.S. dealerships in the fourth quarter of 2006 and in global volume markets in the first half of 2007.
Strikingly Beautiful Design
Inspired by the 2003 Chrysler Airflite concept vehicle that was revealed at the Geneva motor show, the all-new Chrysler Sebring's elegant lines evoke the exterior styling features of the Chrysler vehicle, bringing the Chrysler brand's expressive design attributes to the mid-size segment.
"Sleek and sophisticated, the Chrysler Sebring's overall surfacing and details reflect the Chrysler brand's four attributes: expressive, refined, athletic and passionate," said Trevor Creed, Senior Vice President - Design. "Sebring's elegant styling provides a clear alternative to European and Japanese competition."
From the front, the Chrysler Sebring sedan features the distinctive face of the Chrysler brand, with the Chrysler signature grille, a uniquely sculptured hood, large, distinctive quad headlamps and available fog lamps.
A long hood profile, chrome beltline molding and long roofline emulate a five-door appearance. High-gloss blackouts on the B-pillars enhance the length of the Sebring's greenhouse. Sculptured character lines running along the body accentuate Sebring's athletic stance.
The expressive character of the vehicle continues at the rear where Sebring's wide tail-lamps are integrated into both the rear quarters and extend into the deck lid for visual impact. Rear fog lamps mounted in the backup lamps maintain a uniform appearance between domestic and export vehicles. Chrysler Sebring Limited models for the U.S. market add chrome- tipped dual exhaust outlets to hint at the performance capability of the optional 3.5-liter V6 engine.
World-class Craftsmanship
The elegance found in Sebring's exterior styling also runs through the vehicle's interior, which features a modern, clean appearance with intense focus on quality, detail and execution.
"Chrysler Sebring's interior takes a different direction from many of the current mid-size sedans on the road. Its form is inspired by the Chrysler uplifted winged badge motif and incorporates new and fresh decorative elements," Creed added.
Sebring's finely crafted interior features soft surfaces, mechanical grains and selective gloss levels on the interior surfaces.
From the driver's seat, Sebring's H-point is 2.54 inches (64.6 mm) higher than the vehicle it replaces, giving drivers a command-of-the-road seating position. Standard 60/40 fold-flat rear seats make room for more gear, and an available fold-flat passenger seat creates a table-like surface to enhance the versatility of Sebring's interior.
All Chrysler Sebring models feature a two-tone interior color theme of dark and lighter shades of Pastel Slate Gray or Pastel Pebble Beige, which provides a spacious and well-appointed look. The Chrysler Sebring Limited model also features an exclusive two-tone Cream and Pebble Beige interior with leather seats. The Chrysler Sebring Limited's available upscale accent materials and finishes include Tortoise Shell, Satin Silver, Alloy Silver and Chrome.
Purposeful Technology that Makes Life Easier and Safer
In addition to Sebring's upscale design and elegant use of materials, this all-new sedan brings new levels of function and technology to the U.S. mid- size car segment.
"Chrysler Sebring features a slew of new technologies not typically found or expected in a mid-size car," said David Rooney, Director - Chrysler Marketing and Global Communications. "These features make life easier and safer for the driver and passengers, while making the overall driving experience much more enjoyable for all."
The 2007 Chrysler Sebring features a cutting-edge Harmon/Kardon information, entertainment and safety navigation audio system that raises the bar on in-vehicle communications. This best-in-class next-generation navigation radio features a 6.5-inch Thin Film Transistor (TFT) Display with a touch-screen panel that can support 65,000 colors, providing a three- dimensional appearance to graphics and animation, as well as multiple font sizes and styles. The system follows voice-activated commands and includes many new features for music, sound, movies and personalized picture displays, including:
* A 20 gigabyte hard disc drive that includes Music Juke Box for
organizing music and pictures to the hard drive
* Universal Serial Bus (USB) provides both MP3 connectivity and
downloading of WMA, MP3 and JPEG files onto the hard drive
* GraceNotes database installed on the hard disk drive, which provides
song identification, including title, composer, artist and title
* Playlist creation capability to provide easy access to files
* Voice memo recording, which allows a message up to three-minutes long
to be recorded using the microphone integrated into the rearview mirror
* Radio screen, which can display movies when Sebring is stopped
* SIRIUS(R) Satellite Radio, which provides customers with 100 channels
of the best music, entertainment and information coast-to-coast,
commercial free, 24 hours a day
* UConnect(TM) Hands-free Communication uses Bluetooth(R) technology to
provide voice-activated wireless communication between the occupants'
compatible cell phone and the vehicle's onboard receiver. The hands-

Exhilarating Performance with Excellent Fuel Efficiency
Three engine options power the 2007 Chrysler Sebring sold in the United States: the new 2.4-liter four-cylinder World Engine, a 2.7-liter V-6 engine and an available 3.5-liter V-6 engine coupled with a new six-speed automatic transaxle with Auto Stick that provides 0-60 mph performance to rival the best in the mid-size-car class.
Sebring's standard 2.4-liter World Engine with dual variable valve timing (VVT) rivals all four-cylinder engines in the mid-size-car segment with its combination of fuel economy and solid performance. Mated to a four-speed automatic transaxle, this new engine provides a 13 percent increase in horsepower (172 horsepower vs. 150 horsepower) and 4 percent improvement in fuel economy compared with the 2.4-liter engine it replaces.
An available, enhanced 2.7-liter V-6 engine provides value- and performance-conscious consumers the power of a V-6 engine with a price that compares with the competitions' four-cylinder engines. Chrysler Sebring's available 2.7-liter V-6 engine produces 190 horsepower and 190 lb.-ft. of torque, providing more low-end torque (at an rpm 850 lower) compared with the 2.7-liter engine it replaces.
Chrysler Sebring sedans sold in the United States are also available with 3.5-liter V-6 engines that produce 235 horsepower and 232 lb.-ft. of torque coupled with a new six-speed automatic transaxle that comes standard with Auto Stick. The combination of the upgraded 3.5-liter V-6 engine and six-speed automatic transaxle delivers excellent performance and fuel efficiency, as well as quiet operation.
The 2007 Chrysler Sebring is one of the first Chrysler Group vehicles to offer the new six-speed automatic transaxle, which provides quicker standing- start acceleration than a four- or five-speed transaxle because of its numerically higher first gear ratio. A more robust differential with increased torque capacity enhances launch performance by requiring less torque management, electronically limiting the torque that is available during the initial stages of standing-start acceleration. Smaller steps between ratios also make for a smoother, quieter ride, as the engine speed doesn't change as often with each shift. In addition, more ratio choices, more appropriate ratios for quicker acceleration and a lower overall top gear ratio provide a quieter ride and improved fuel economy at highway speeds.
"The all-new 2007 Chrysler Sebring's performance is extremely competitive with the best in its class," said Larry Lyons, Vice President - Front-wheel- drive Product Team. "Based on 0-60 mph acceleration tests, the Sebring Limited's performance, with its new 3.5-liter V-6 engine and six-speed automatic transaxle, rivals the leaders in the mid-size class."
For the first time in the mid-size car segment, the Chrysler Group also will offer a state-of-the-art 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine on the Chrysler Sebring for key diesel markets outside North America. The diesel engine will deliver excellent performance and fuel economy, with an estimated 140 horsepower DIN (103 kW) and 236 lb.-ft. (320 N*m) of torque.
Elevating Expectations
In the United States, Chrysler Sebring is designed to appeal to 35-55- year-old buyers who are married and have a median income of approximately $65,000. Fifty-five percent are female, and 60 percent are college educated. Many have small families with one or two children. These mid-size car buyers are down-to-earth and conservative, yet open-minded, self-confident and have a passion for life. Middle and upper-middle class, their lives are active, and they have a true sense of style. Their self image is grounded in their accomplishments and future prospects. Chrysler Sebring's elegant and sophisticated design, packaged with interior craftsmanship and essential levels of reliability, meets the needs of customers who want more than just practicality in this competitive segment.
Chrysler Sebring Model Lineup
The 2007 Chrysler Sebring is available in the United States in three models: Chrysler Sebring, Chrysler Sebring Touring and Chrysler Sebring Limited.
2007 Chrysler Sebring Production
Production of the 2007 Chrysler Sebring begins in the third quarter of 2006 at the newly refurbished Sterling Heights Assembly Plant in Sterling Heights, Mich. The new 2.4-liter four-cylinder World Engine for this vehicle is built in the state-of-the art Global Engine Manufacturing Assembly (GEMA) plant in Dundee, Mich. The 2.7-liter V-6 engine and the 3.5-liter V-6 engines are built at the Kenosha Engine Plant in Kenosha, Wis.
Chrysler Brand
Driven by award-winning new models, the Chrysler brand has seen a dramatic increase in sales, market share and brand image, culminating in 2005 calendar year sales of 649,293 units -- an all-time sales record. Since 1990, Chrysler brand sales have jumped 251 percent. No other American automotive brand has grown as much during the same time frame.
"The Chrysler brand's succession of innovative product introductions continues to solidify the brand's standing as the leader in great design, purposeful technology and value," said David Rooney, Director - Chrysler Marketing and Global Communications. "With the launch of the all-new 2007 Chrysler Sebring sedan and the 2007 Chrysler Aspen -- the first-ever full-size SUV for the brand -- the momentum is sure to continue," he added.
Global Engine Manufacturing Alliance (GEMA)
The World Engine is a family of world-class four-cylinder engines produced by GEMA in Dundee, Mich., delivering an exceptional combination of quality, fuel efficiency, refinement and performance. GEMA is owned equally by DaimlerChrysler Corp., Mitsubishi Motors Corp. and Hyundai Motor Company. By optimizing the three joint venture partners' strengths, global economies of scale and the latest practices in flexible teams and machines, GEMA aims to set a new benchmark in engine plant productivity.

Volkswagen of America, Inc. Lands in Roswell
Pods from around the universe fly in for '2K Car Show Weekend'
Could it be something out of H.G. Wells' "War of the Worlds"? Actually, these mechanized vehicles and those that drive them "come in peace," as hundreds of Volkswagen New Beetles trek to the New Mexico desert for the 7th Annual Roswell New Beetle "2K Car Show Weekend," June 23 - 25, 2006.
This year, Volkswagen of America, Inc. will bring in a number of New Beetles, including the Teacher's New Beetle, produced for the NEA (National Educators Association), whose surface acts as a dry erase board, allowing teachers to write on the car and then wipe it clean for the next lesson.
Also on hand and poised for stargazing: Volkswagen's iconic Rabbit. The new Rabbit is nimble and quick and features a powerful five cylinder, 2.5 liter, 150 hp engine, available in both two- and four-door versions, starting at just $14,990. The Rabbit was the first Volkswagen produced in the United States and its appeal grew rapidly, with sales of over 1.3 million in its 10-year lifespan. The new Rabbit is darting into showrooms nationwide now.
Coming this fall but also in Roswell: the brand new Volkswagen Eos hardtop convertible. The Eos four-seater features a revolutionary five-panel roof that transforms a hardtop coupe lid with an integrated sunroof, to an open convertible. Volkswagen will offer the Eos with two engines: an award-winning 2.0 liter turbo, 200 horsepower, four cylinder starting at $27,990 and a 3.2 liter, 250 horsepower version of Volkswagen's narrow angle V6 starting at $36,850.
The Roswell 2K event features a "Skywatch" event Friday night, and, on Saturday, a car show and New Beetle parade down Roswell's historic Main Street. Barry Meguiar, host of Speed Channel's "Car Crazy," will serve as parade Grand Marshal. On Sunday, a road rally will take New Beetle cruisers to Carlsbad Caverns and a drive-in movie.
Last year's event drew thousands of attendees and more than 250 New Beetles from 34 states and Canada. This year's caravans hail from all over the continent, including: Denver, Houston, San Diego, Seattle, Toronto and Washington, D.C.
The Roswell 2K event originally grew out of two significant New Beetle occurrences. The first was the online frenzy generated by the car's official launch in 1998. As new cars left dealer showrooms for the open road, Volkswagen enthusiast websites excitedly "buzzed" with initial New Beetle "sightings" from across the country. In 1999, the idea for an event and its Roswell setting were firmly cast with the airing of a New Beetle commercial which stated (tongue firmly in cheek) that the car was "reverse-engineered by UFOs."
Held in Roswell, N.M., famous for a 1947 UFO crash that was reported then later denied by the U.S. military, the three-day weekend of activities is the largest New Beetle celebration in the world.

Founded in 1955, Volkswagen of America, Inc. is headquartered in Auburn Hills, Michigan. It is a subsidiary of Volkswagen AG, headquartered in Wolfsburg, Germany.
