Round 7 American Le Mans Series
Presented by Tequila Patrón

Humaid Al Masaood (#20-LMP1 Lola B09/86 Mazda) “I wasn't 100% aware of what happened in turn 1 at the start. We kind of got away from the crowd, that was a little lucky. We got some good clean running. We kind of went from there. Chris had the first stint in front of me, there was some traffic, and we had the pit stop. Steven
got away quickly as we changed drivers. Then we came out in front. We had to drive smart to keep the win.
Driving smart is definitely a challenge, and its easy to make a mistake at the start of a race like this. Especiallywith some cold tires, it's easy to go off and be in the wall. You have to be very precise, take a little off and make good decisions. You really have no room for error. I think to a degree, being everyone's first time here, it
was a help for us to get the win. Overall, the circuit was set up for being challenging but great for a driver. Yes,I'm surprised to get a win so young into the relationship. It hasn't quiet sunk in. “
