Visa USA and NFL Stars Drew Brees and Ronnie Brown Launch First-Ever Money Management Cell Phone Game to Help Students Tackle Their Financial Futures

Super Bowl XLI Week Kicks Off With a Game of 'Financial Football'

Visa USA today announced it is releasing a free, first-of-its-kind cell phone game that helps teens learn how to manage money wisely. Developed in conjunction with the NFL and PLAYERS INC, "Financial Football" equips parents with an innovative tool to help their children learn important financial life lessons.

"Cell phones are the screen of choice for today's teenagers and parents know all too well just how much time their children spend talking, texting and playing games on their cells," said Michael Rolnick, director, Visa USA. "Creating a financial management cell phone game allows parents and educators to harness the popularity of the cell phone and put it to good use in teaching the vital life skill of money management."

Demonstrating the connection teenagers have with their cell phones and the growing popularity of gaming on mobile devices, a new study of parents released by Visa USA shows that 38% of teenagers play a cell phone game more than once a week. The survey also showed that 10% of teenagers are "super cell gamers," playing games on their cell phone five times a day or more.

Sprint and Cingular customers can access the game by texting the word VISA to 24421. Unlike many other cell phone games, which can cost up to $20, Visa is not charging a fee to download "Financial Football." Additional information on the game is available at http://www.practicalmoneyskills.com/CellFootball.

Before being developed for cell phones, "Financial Football" already scored points with parents, teachers and teenagers as a computer-based video game. At the Super Bowl XLI NFL Media Center, Visa USA was joined by New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees and Miami Dolphins running back Ronnie Brown to help coach students from Miami Beach High School in a game of "Financial Football."

"It takes the combined efforts of parents, teachers, and mentors within the community to give young adults a strong background in personal financial management," said New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees. "A few months ago, I joined Visa in bringing this message to students in Louisiana. Now I have the chance to coach another game of 'Financial Football' here in Miami and to tell these students how imperative it will be for them to learn how to make good, smart, informed money decisions, as they plan for college and beyond."

"Teaching the fundamentals of money management in school gives young people a real advantage in today's financially diverse society," said Ronnie Brown of the hometown Miami Dolphins. "I'm glad for the opportunity to teach these Miami Beach students how to manage their money because it is such a vital life skill."

"Financial Football" puts students' fiscal knowledge to the test by combining the structure and rules of the NFL with financial education questions of varying difficulty. To score points, a player needs to answer various money management questions correctly. Wrong answers and penalties can cost a player yardage.

The free, computer-based version of "Financial Football" has already been downloaded and played over 100,000 times. The game and corresponding financial education curriculum are the centerpiece of a major educational initiative, now in its second season, between Visa, the NFL and PLAYERS INC, to get young people engaged and excited about their financial futures.

In addition to being a game, "Financial Football" is also part of a one- week, five-part financial literacy program designed for high school instruction. In December, Visa teamed up with West Virginia State Treasurer John D. Perdue to announce the first-ever statewide roll out of "Financial Football" that brings the computer-based game to every high school and library in the state. West Virginia is one of a growing number of states making financial education a mandatory high school graduation requirement.

"Financial Football" is part of Practical Money Skills for Life (http://www.practicalmoneyskills.com/), a comprehensive financial literacy program -- available in English, Spanish and Chinese -- that teaches young adults personal finance skills.

This free, educational resource provides teachers with lesson plans (kindergarten through college) mapped to their state education requirements. For students, there are interactive games and calculators designed to teach responsibility and important concepts such as earning, saving and budgeting money.

"As part of Visa's longstanding commitment to financial education, we are constantly developing new and creative ways to get students to learn how to budget, invest and save for their futures," said Rolnick. "Cell phones are the perfect way to reach teenagers and have them learn about financial responsibility."

SnoCountry Reports Latest Skiing Conditions Information

Following are the latest skiing conditions information as supplied by SnoCountry Mountain Reports as of Friday, Jan 26 2007, 6:27:38 PM EST.

Alpine Skiing/Riding conditions are subject to change due to weather, skier traffic and other factors. Be aware of changing conditions.

SNOW CONDITION DEFINITIONS & TERMS

This glossary of terms is used by all ski areas when they report to SCR. The code allows for communication with skiers in a universal language.

NOTE: The standard abbreviations next to each definition reflect the way ski reports are communicated in print (newspapers).

New Snow: Natural snowfall which has fallen in the past 24 hours or continuously for more than one day. An average accumulation from summit to base is reported.

Average Base Depth: An average of the high and low amounts of snow over the entire ski area. Machine made and natural snow amounts are combined.

Primary Surface Condition: The type of snow condition which covers at least 70 percent of the terrain open to skiers.

Secondary Surface Condition: The next most prevalent snow conditions, covering at least 20% of the skiing terrain open to skiers.

Powder-PDR: Cold, new, loose, fluffy, flaky and dry snow which has not been compacted.

Packed Powder-PP: Powder snow, either natural or machine made, that has been packed down by skier traffic or grooming machines. The snow is no longer fluffy, but is not so extremely compacted that it is hard.

Hard Pack-HP: When natural or machine made snow becomes very firmly packed. The snow has never melted and re-crystallized, but it's been tightly compressed through grooming and continuous wind exposure. You can plant a pole in hard packed snow, but it takes more effort than packed powder.

Machine Groomed Snow-MGS: Loose granular snow that has been repeatedly groomed by power tillers so that the texture is halfway between LSGR & PP. Some of the snow is granular & has been so pulverized that the crystals are like powder sugar. It's neither LSGR or PP.

Wet Snow-WETSN: Powder or packed powder snow that has become moist due to a thaw or rainfall, or snow which was moist when it fell.

Wet packed Snow-WPS: Natural or machine made snow that has been previously packed and becomes wet usually because of rainfall.

Loose Granular-LSGR: This surface results after powder or packed powder thaws, then refreezes and recrystalizes, or from an accumulation of sleet. This is also created by machine grooming of frozen or icy snow.

Frozen Granular-FRGR: This is undoubtedly the most misunderstood surface condition in ski reporting. It is defined as a hard surface of old snow formed by granules freezing together after rain or warm temperatures. Frozen granular will support a ski pole stuck into its surface while ice will chip away and not support a pole.

Wet Granular-WETGR: Loose or frozen granular snow which becomes wet after rainfall or high temperatures.

Icy-ICE: Not to be confused with frozen granular, ice is a hard, glazed surface created either by freezing rain, ground water seeping up into the snow and freezing or by the rapid freezing of snow saturated with water from rain or melting. Ice will chip away and not support a ski pole when stuck into it.

Variable Conditions-VC: When no primary surface (70%) can be determined, variable conditions describe a range of surfaces that a skier may encounter. Parts of trails can be Loose Granular, partly Packed Powder, and parts Frozen Granular, for example.

Corn Snow-CORN: Usually found in the spring, Corn Snow is characterized by large, loose granules during the day, which freeze together at night, then warm up again and loosen during the day.

Spring Conditions-SC: This is the spring version of Variable Conditions. It is used when no one surface can describe 70% or more of the terrain open for skiers.

Windblown Snow-WBLN: Powder or granular snow which has been blown by wind into forming a base

The Vegas Lights Will Shine With Star Power When Alonzo Mourning, Earvin 'Magic' Johnson, Queen Latifah and Chris 'Ludacris' Bridges Join Together to Host 'Boost Mobile Zo & Magic's 8-Ball Challenge'

Athletes and Entertainers Will Showcase Their Billiard Skills at a Competitive Celebrity Pool Tournament Benefiting Alonzo Mourning Charities & The Magic Johnson Foundation

On Thursday, February 15, 2007, Boost Mobile will present the most highly anticipated celebrity fundraiser taking place during the All-Star weekend. The 2007 Boost Mobile Zo & Magic's 8-Ball Challenge, in conjunction with NBA All-Star Alonzo Mourning of the Miami Heat and NBA legend, Earvin "Magic" Johnson, will converge on the city of lights and showcase the billiard skills of some of the most recognizable faces in sports, film, television and music. Hosted by Academy Award nominee and Grammy award winner Queen Latifah and SAG Award winner and four-time Grammy nominee, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, this celebrity pool tournament will be held at the famous Wynn Las Vegas Resort & Casino with owners, Steve and Elaine Wynn lending their time and support to this great cause.

With the gracious help of title sponsor Boost Mobile and the support of automotive luxury leader Lincoln, ESPN and Remy, this annual event will boast a who's who list of celebrities and sports stars including Dwyane Wade (Miami Heat), Gilbert Arenas (Washington Wizards), the legendary Julius "Dr. J" Erving, Michael Vick (Atlanta Falcons), Terrell Owens (Dallas Cowboys), actor Nick Cannon and actress Regina King competing for a grand prize package that includes Boost Mobile phones and service, luxury trips, Tiffany & Company custom made gifts, X-Box's and much, much more.

"The fact that this event has continued to grow in every facet is very encouraging. Last year it helped AMC, in part, grant more than $700,000 to several charities. This year, with our focus of building youth centers, the funds generated will help us meet this goal. Again, I challenge everyone to take part in this great event that Magic and I support whole-heartedly and ultimately benefits our youth," said Mourning.

The inaugural 8-Ball Challenge was held in 2005 during Denver, Colorado's All Star festivities and hosted by famed comedian, Cedric The Entertainer. Broadcast live on TNT's Post-Game show, "Inside the NBA," the event raised over $100,000 for two of the NBA's most popular and philanthropic players, Alonzo Mourning and Carmelo Anthony. Household names such as Julius "Dr. J." Erving, Ludacris, Terrell Owens, Dwyane Wade and the TNT trio of Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith & Charles Barkley were on hand to watch NBA All-Star Paul Pierce take home the grand prize.

In 2006, Mourning hooked up with the legendary Magic Johnson to invade Houston and take over Jillians. Atlanta-based radio personalities, The Two Stews, were crowned the kings of the 2006 8-Ball Challenge and joined Shaquille O'Neal (Miami Heat), Sam Cassell (LA Clippers), Curtis Martin (NJ Jets), Paul Pierce (Boston Celtics) and the legendary Michael Jordan to raise more than $250,000 for Alonzo and Magic's Foundations.

Like the past two years, thirty-two (32) two-person teams will compete round-robin style with winning teams advancing until a final round of play. The Wynn's "LaFite" Ballroom will be completely transformed for the Boost Mobile Zo & Magic 8-Ball Challenge. And new to the event this year, ESPN will produce a one-hour special that showcases Alonzo and Magic's Foundations with the pool tournament and All-Star as the backdrop. Highlights from the competition as well as the final round of play will also be included in the show. This special broadcast will air during Black History Month in February.

"It's sexy, it's hot, it's entertainment at its best and it's for charity. No matter what Alonzo and I do, it's going to be fun," says Earvin "Magic" Johnson. "So, instead of us going up against each other at NBA All-Star, we decided to come together once again for Boost Mobile's Zo and Magic's 8-Ball Challenge."

Key highlights of the night will be a silent auction that features an All-Star list of items from Alonzo and Magic as well as NBA superstars Michael Jordan, Dwyane Wade and more. Other items up for bid include a Boost Mobile i885 phone with one year of free service and a Wynn Las Vegas package that includes a stay in the resort's Tower Suite, show tickets, golf, dinner and more.

Over the past three years, Boost Mobile has become an integral partner in making sure the mission of Alonzo Mourning Charities and the Magic Johnson Foundation achieve their goals by supporting the Boost Mobile Zo & Magic's 8-Ball Challenge. "Partnering on this event is one of the highlights of the year for Boost," explains Daryl Butler, marketing director -- strategic alliances, Boost Mobile. "We are able to support the important work that Alonzo and Magic's foundations do on a daily basis and understand their impact on young people through their programs. Boost is proud to be a part of this event and work with Alonzo and Magic in boosting the lives of young people in meaningful ways."

All of the net proceeds raised will benefit charities supported by Alonzo Mourning Charities, Inc. and the Magic Johnson Foundation.

A limited number of tickets for Boost Mobile Zo & Magic's 8-Ball Challenge are still available. For more information, log onto www.amcharities.org or www.magicjohnson.org

About Alonzo Mourning & Alonzo Mourning Charities

Alonzo Mourning is best known as an NBA superstar, but it's his off-the-court charitable efforts that he considers his crowning achievement. When he founded Alonzo Mourning Charities in 1997, his mission was to improve the lives of underprivileged kids in various communities. Alonzo Mourning Charities (AMC) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) public fundraising foundation. AMC's mission is to provide support and services that enhance the lives of 'youth of promise'. Since 1997, AMC has raised more than $6 million for various organizations that aid in the development of children and families living in at-risk situations. In addition to supporting other non-profit organizations, Mourning has focused his attention to building youth centers. With the help of donors, Mourning opened the first center in 2003 in the historic city of Overtown, in South Florida, known as the Overtown Youth Center. John Alessio delivered one of his best performances yet against seasoned veteran Brian Gassaway! Alessio wasted no time in getting this fight to the ground where he peppered Gassaway with multiple shots while securing full mount. It wouldn't be long before Gassaway would give us his back and be submitted by a rear naked choke at 4:50 of the first round.

Alex Karlexis put on a striking clinic against heavy-handed Olaf Alfonso on Saturday night. Karalexis was on the hunt from the get go and was relentless in his attack! The second round was no different as Karalexis poured on the punishment with an array of elbows and strikes, which eventually opened Olaf up. The fight was stopped when Alfonso pleaded to be checked and would eventually give up! The referee called a halt to the action at 3:53 of the second round.

PASSION FOR COLLECTOR CARS DRIVES SALES TO OVER $110 MILLION AT SCOTTSDALE BARRETT-JACKSON AUCTION

Record Sales and Attendance Reaffirms Popularity of Car Collecting

Collectors spent nearly US$112,000,000 at the 36th Annual Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Event in Scottsdale, Ariz., from Monday, January 15 - 21, 2007. Continued, strong demand made the event the most successful collector car auction in American history as bidders snapped up 1,271 total cars sold at No Reserve, as well as rock and pop culture memorabilia in spite of a soggy WestWorld facility. "The World's Greatest Collector Car Event™" attracted over 250,000 visitors and was featured on SPEED with 40 hours of live coverage during 2007.

"The collector car hobby continues to grow and demand was exceptionally strong for a variety of vehicles ranging from vintage Shelbys to superb customs, top notch muscle cars, obscure makes and even timeless Woodies," said Craig Jackson, CEO of the Barrett-Jackson Auction Company. "And as our team predicted, collectors rediscovered the 'golden era of fins' as they pushed the values of many 1950s classics to over $100,000. The spectacular vehicles sold this week were some of the most desirable automobiles in the world and the prices they fetched demonstrated the incredible strength of the market."

The highlight of the auction was the sale of Carroll Shelby's 1966 Shelby 427 Cobra for a world record $5,500,000, including buyer's premium. The "Warrior One" Hummer that was "overhauled" by Chip Foose following a CNN tour of duty in Iraq hit $1,000,000. Proceeds from the sale of the CNN Hummer were donated to The Fisher House Foundation, which builds "comfort homes" for families of hospitalized military personnel; bidder Dave Ressler donated another $250,000 to the charity during the bidding.

"In addition to Shelby's Cobra and the CNN Hummer topping the million dollar mark, two 1954 Dodge Firearrow convertible 'Dream' cars hit $1,100,000 each," explained Steve Davis, President of the Barrett-Jackson Auction Company. "Another Shelby Cobra knocked on the door by selling for $935,000 and we broke records for cars like the stunning Boss 429 Mustang that sold for $605,000."

Barrett-Jackson continues to set the standard for the collector car market by elevating consignment standards, challenging records and serving as the barometer for market trends. The selection of cars this year was the broadest ever in the Barrett-Jackson Auction Company's rich history, ranging from a vintage stagecoach to an Amphicar, a Russian rescue craft, 1950's classics, contemporary cars and exotics. Results from the week uncovered interesting new trends that will be analyzed by collectors worldwide

"One of the key trends is that the number of new bidders continues to be very strong," added Jackson. "Many of these buyers aren't afraid to buy something a bit offbeat like a Kaiser Henry, De Soto Firesweep or Pro Stock Chevy Vega race car. For traditional collectors, B-Body Chryslers and HEMI's continue to command premium prices, Shelbys of every year are in demand and the custom, resto-mods are still hot. Austin Healeys increased in value and the rarest Corvettes are still very good purchases."

The auction is a lifestyle event, featuring fashion shows and a pavilion where patrons were pampered with spa treatments, shopped for high-end jewelry and clothing and had access to some of Arizona's most prestigious resort communities. Two evening galas were held during the week; one for bidders and VIPs and another benefiting Childhelp, the auction's charitable beneficiary. For the first time, a rock-n-roll memorabilia auction was added to the week long event. This mixture of automobiles and lifestyle also attracted a host of new sponsors including General Motors and Ford Motor Company; the first 2007 Shelby GT was sold at the auction for $660,000 and several GM show cars crossed the block.

"We selected an amazing diversity of vehicles to offer this year, including contemporary icons like the first Shelby GT and recent GM show cars," noted Davis. "Then we wove quality 'driver' cars into the docket of vintage muscle cars, customs and classics. This presentation of all makes, models, years and levels of cars makes it possible for even more people to enjoy car collecting. The world responded to our approach and the resulting strong sales in Scottsdale shows the market for car collecting is very, very healthy."

OVERHAULED CNN MILITARY HUMMER TO TAKE 36TH ANNUAL BARRETT-JACKSON AUCTION BY STORM

Proceeds From The Battle-Tested SUV Will Benefit The Fisher House Foundation

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - November 20, 2006 - Following a brave tour of duty in the Iraq War and a wild "Overhaulin'" by Chip Foose and his partners on The Learning Channel, a one-off CNN Hummer will be sold for charity at No Reserve during the 36th Annual Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Event from Jan. 13-21, 2007, in Scottsdale, Ariz. Nicknamed "Warrior One," the custom SUV was unveiled before a host of CNN employees on October 12, 2006.

Proceeds from the sale of the Hummer will be donated to The Fisher House Foundation, a group that builds "comfort homes" for families of hospitalized military personnel. Hailed as "The World's Greatest Collector Car Events™", the auction will feature more than 1,100 of the world's finest collector automobiles, attract over 225,000 visitors and be featured on SPEED with 40 hours of live coverage.

"The CNN Hummer will be one of the most historic, inspiring vehicles to ever cross the block at a Barrett-Jackson auction," said Craig Jackson, president of the Barrett-Jackson Auction Company. "This machine served with America's brave soldiers in Iraq, and now it will help fund an amazing organization that supports the families of wounded soldiers. The future owner of this Hummer will capture a commemorative gem to add to their automotive collection."

CNN officials purchased the Hummer in Kuwait prior to the war. Correspondents, producers and photojournalists depended on "Warrior One" to report stories while embedded with the First Battalion, 7th Marines. In addition to basic transportation, the Hummer served as living quarters and a storage facility for the CNN crew.

This past summer "Overhaulin'" took the Hummer to the show's workshop in Irvine, Calif. Crews revamped the Hummer's engine and made numerous upgrades including a 6-inch suspension lift, custom leather interior, 37-inch BFGoodrich tires and one-off Foose wheels.

Stereo system upgrades include 7,500 watts of Kicker audio, 250-pound subwoofers, a DVD player and six LCD monitors. Airbrush artists Dru Blaier, Mickey Harris and Mike Lavallee spent 240 hours painting images of journalists and military personnel onto the vehicle as a tribute to those who served during the war in Iraq and to the brave journalists who covered the war.

Since its unveiling, the Hummer has visited various U.S. military bases and automotive events, including the SEMA Show in Las Vegas from October 31-November 3, 2006. The "Overhaulin'" episode featuring the Hummer aired on November 14, 2006, on TLC.

"In addition to its sentimental value, Chip Foose transformed this military beast into one of the best looking SUVs on the planet," added Steve Davis, executive vice president of Barrett-Jackson. "CNN wanted to personalize this Hummer to honor the brave men and women of our armed forces and the journalists who risk their lives alongside them. I believe Chip and his team delivered."

Barrett-Jackson continually reaffirms its leadership position in the collector car market by elevating consignment standards, challenging annual records and serving as the barometer for market trends. Last year, more than 300,000 attendees and millions of television viewers from around the world witnessed over 1,600 cars being auctioned off for approximately $135 million at the two 2006 Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Events held in Scottsdale and Palm Beach, Fla.

Imation to Sponsor Memorex-Branded No. 41 Dodge in NASCAR Busch Series

Signs on With Chip Ganassi Racing With Felix Sabates; Car to Debut August 24 at Bristol

Imation Corp (NYSE:IMN) , a worldwide leader in removable data storage, announced today that it has signed an agreement with Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates (CGRFS) to become a primary sponsor of the No. 41 Memorex Dodge in the NASCAR Busch Series starting in August 2007. Imation and CGRFS made the announcement at the team's Concord, N.C., race shop.

"Imation made a significant investment when we acquired Memorex in 2006. This sponsorship is an excellent opportunity for us to connect our Memorex brand, the number one brand of recordable CDs and DVDs in the U.S., with NASCAR, the fastest-growing sport in America," said Frank Russomanno, President, Chief Operating Officer and Acting CEO of Imation. "Our Memorex portfolio of products helps people capture, save, and share life's fun moments -- like a day at the race track -- and we are glad to have this opportunity to be front and center with the No. 41 Memorex Dodge as a part of the Busch Series action."

Imation's Memorex brand will be an associate team sponsor of the No. 41 Wrigley's Dodge during the first 25 Busch Series races, starting with the season-opening run at Daytona International Speedway in February. In August, Imation will become the car's primary sponsor with its Memorex-branded No. 41 Dodge, which will make its debut at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway on August 24. The car will be driven by young racing phenomenon Bryan Clauson for the majority of the remaining races.

"Memorex is one of the most well-known brands in the world," said team owner Chip Ganassi. "We are elated to have a partnership with Memorex, one of Imation's powerhouse brands. What makes this partnership even more special is that Memorex will be aligned with Bryan Clauson, one of the talented, young drivers in our development program. Bryan has had success at every level of racing that he has participated in, and we couldn't be more excited about his and Memorex's debut in NASCAR."

At just 16 years of age, Clauson (now 17) became the youngest driver in United States Auto Club (USAC) history to win both a National Sprint Car Series and National feature Midget race, topping a list of USAC's all-time greats including Mario Andretti, A.J. Foyt, Parnelli Jones, Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart.

After an injury last September in Wheatland, Mo., sidelined him for the remainder of the 2006 season, Clauson still finished in the Top 10 in both Sprint and Midget points. He also won selected USAC Regional Midget Car Series events throughout the year.

"I never expected everything to happen this fast, and I couldn't be more thankful. Everything that has transpired since Chip's call a little more than one year ago has just seemed to fall into place," Clauson said. "To get to drive for a team like Ganassi is a huge honor, and then to represent an innovative and well-known brand like Memorex is a unique opportunity in itself. I know there are thousands of racers out there who are working to get where I am right now. I am sincerely grateful to everyone involved. The next step is for me to get the job done in the No. 41 Memorex Dodge later this year."
